Creating a Glorious New Year

Life doesn't get better all on its own, each of us must do our part to make it better for ourselves, our families, friends and complete strangers. How do we make 2021 the best year yet? Be a loving, kind, thoughtful and generous person. Help others as much as you can, when you can. Treat everyone the way you want to be treated and thereby show and teach others how to treat you.

May we all find fulfillment of our good desires as these days unfold, and may we build a better world for ourselves and generations to come, to enjoy, thrive and prosper in.

That's a big challenge, but I know if we each do our small part to make it so, it WILL come to pass.

Declare Your Independence

From the USA Declaration of Independence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That, whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

To establish individual sovereignty over one's own body, mind, spirit and being, it behooves each of us to take back the power and authority which we've blindly given to others, particularly when such authority and power is abusive and not in the best interest of each individual's rights and freedoms.

When we don't take responsibility for our own actions and interactions with others but rather assign those responsibilities to another individual, (or government,) we are giving away the fundamental ability to choose for ourselves, how we express our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, which are our God given rights.

We were not created to be the slaves of other's desires and ambitions. We were not created to be a cog in the machinery of of our own destruction, yet by not standing up for our rights and freedoms, we are complicit in our own demise. Not only do we thereby suffer, but generations after us suffer because of our lack of holding on to our sovereignty, our rights and freedoms.

Acknowledge your sovereignty. Acknowledge your rights and freedoms, and take back the power and authority you've given to others, (government(s)).

No one know better than you, what is in your best interest and well-being, and if You don't know what that is, you NEED to find out and pursuit it.

Antidote for Misery

There is that saying, "Misery loves company."

Considering the amount of misery inflicted upon the peoples of Earth, those who instigated all this crap must REALLY be miserable themselves, otherwise they wouldn't inflict this crap on all of us.

Pray for the misery in their lives to be dissolved, so they can return to compassion, love, caring and sharing, because this is the season for being loving, caring and forgiving others.

Just because they are miserable, doesn't mean we need to join them in their misery, find the joy in this moment, laugh, sing, play, be happy. It is contagious and we NEED this sort of contagion these days. :)

The Garden of your Mind

When you plant a seed in your garden, you've previously prepared the soil to accept the seed, and made its environment suitable for the seed to germinate, sprout and grow into the harvest you desired when planting the seed. It takes continued attention and proper care of the garden wherein the seed has been planted, to enable and promote the seed's growth.

The same is true of the seeds we plant within our minds. We plant them there because we want the fruits that seed will bare, but if we don't continue to take proper care, if we just plant the seed and forget it, without daily returning to the garden to make sure it is in proper condition, etc., who knows whether that seed will make it to the harvest and bare the fruit we desired.

Gardening your mind is a good analogy. Consider this analogy when you are pondering what you really want, and whether you are actually allowing it to come forth by being committed to it and supporting it to come into your life experiencing.

A wise gardener doesn't just randomly throw any kind of seeds upon the garden soil, so be selective what seeds (thought) you carry within yourself, and consciously decided which ones to plant.

If you are a conscious creator, you will learn how to garden your mind by doing it and consciously tending to it daily.

Peaceful Warriors Defend

Even though I often promote Peace, Love, Harmony, Compassion and Abundance for all, this does not mean that each of us should not be prepared and able to defend these principles against those who would deprive us of them.

Be a peaceful warrior, walk the path of truth, honor and right-use-ness. Be brave in the defense of what we know to be right and true, and stand firmly to protect and serve God's will.

David Carradine portrayed such a peaceful warrior in the old TV Series, "Kung Fu." He did not seek to do harm, but in self defense, he did harm those who attacked him. He also defended those who could not or would not defend themselves.

So, if you want to see an example of a peaceful warrior, watch that TV Series. Also, learn self defense without the intent to kill as a qualifier for the force used in self defense.

Be The Ocean In A Drop

Most of what we've been taught has to do with the concepts of a closed system. This is opposite from nature, which is an open system, where elements of the open system are ever-flowing, ever-changing, yet in principle are always the same.

With a closed system, like a battery for instance, it has a set amount of energy contained within it so that when the energy is spent, the battery is of no use anymore.

In an open system, a battery is the focal point through which the energy flows. The energy flows out as it is used, and as it is used, the inflow of energy replenishes the battery so that it is always fully charged.

We are energy beings created in an open system, where the energy is constantly flowing in, through and out of our expression in being. Illness is actually a condition where the flow of energy is hampered or restricted, which manifests as illness.

At the center of each being is the source of energy flowing and expressing as each being, different yet in principle the same. You may have heard the saying that goes something like, you are just a drop in the ocean, when in fact you are the ocean in a drop. This analogy represents the difference between a closed system and an open system.

Thanksgiving

During these trying times, we might not think there is anything to be thankful for, but if we stop for a moment, review all the good people and things we have in our lives, we will see there is so much to be thankful for, it would take a long time to write it all down in a list.

Even if you only have one thing you are thankful for, focus upon that feeling of appreciation and gratitude, let that be your center of awareness through all the days of your life.

The more we maintain our attitude of gratitude and appreciation, the more we will realize more to be in gratitude and appreciation about.

Balance

The secret is BALANCE. Polarities exist and both are equally as valuable as the other. A coin has two sides, each opposite the other. The coin can not exist with only one side.

Each of us carries within our own being both polarities which enables us to manifest within this creation.

Choice comes in when we decide which side of the coin we are going to express, and this choice determines not only our life expressions, but collectively how humanity expresses in this creation.

There will always be polarities, but there doesn't have to be conflict between the two, they each have their place and function, and when working in harmony, promote the furtherance of creation in manifestation.

It All Happens In The Here Now

In order to form/create a future where everyone is recognized as a sovereign being, capable of making their own choices, and in the cases where people aren't able to make their own choices; compassionate, loving people will help take care of them promoting the individual's well-being, with thoughtful considerations based upon the philosophy presented in the Golden Rule.

We start the building process right here, right now, by how we choose to live our life in this and every moment that follows. In the process of gardening, the soil has to be prepared, then the seed is planted and taken care of so that it may flourish and thrive to its maturity. The same is true of our creative process. Prepare our environment to facilitate optimal conditions for success, then take care of our "seedlings" so they have grow and unfold according to the codes contained within the seed(s).

When we start an adventure that will take many years to complete, the first step is just as important as the last one, and once we take that first step, continuing to do so with the goal in mind as a guiding compass, will insure our success.

Lets create Heaven on Earth, one person at a time, one moment at a time, not only for our personal well-being but for the well-being of our progeny on into the future.

Their Divide and Conquer Methodology

If your goal is to divide the peoples of Earth, what would be a good way to do that?

Enter the plandemic. Everyone you encounter is a potential enemy, because you can’t tell whether they are infected and contagious or not, therefore you have psychologically made everyone leery of everyone else. You’ve created a divisive methodology which is more damaging than any physical weapon one could think of. This is a similar methodology used with the idea of terrorism, but without the blatant physical violence.

How could you easily see whether your methodology is effective or not?

You use the plandemic as an excuse to make everyone wear masks and maintain a 6 feet distance from each other. With these “rules” you not only can easily see who is compliant or not, but also cause those who conform to these rules to use peer pressure to make non-conformists conform as well.

The psychological ramifications of implementing such methodologies are far more devastating than the physical virus used as an excuse to implement them, and even if there is no longer a virus to be protected from, you can’t see it so you can’t tell whether you are “safe” or not, so the psychological effects can go on indefinitely and as paranoia increases through distortions presented via mass media, can lead to physical violence too.

How do we defend against such tactics?

Let go of your fear. Realize you are going to die sometime, that is certain, and the above cited methodologies may actually contribute to your early death more than the physical virus could. Fear is the fuel for divide and the conquer methodologies; therefore overcoming your fears will serve you better than anything else. When you realize you are more than just this physical body, and you have nothing to fear about death, you can once again live your life, find purpose and direction in undertaking ways to being harmony, unity, compassion and prosperity to everyone. When you become so involved in LIFE, death has less of a grip on you, and you find joy and appreciation in all good things life offers us all.

Meditate. Find your eternal presence within your heart center and dwell there because in the light of the divine, there is nothing to fear, there is no real death, only transition from one realm to another.

Regardless of whether you comply with the psychological methodologies imposed upon you, you can still maintain your center of peace, love, compassion and caring, not only for yourself but others. This is your secret tool which can’t be readily detected because it looks like you are compliant, but behind the mask, within your heart, you are uniting with everyone not only in your immediate circle of friends, but all of God’s creation.

From Disease to Well-being

Disease. Dis ease. not in harmony, not at ease, not at peace.

Where does your dis ease come from? Is it really from outside your self, or is its origin within your own mind, attitudes and interactions with your body, mind and spirit?

To heal, consider what your body needs to return to optimal health, consider the thoughts that run through your mind unregulated, which aren't helpful in bringing peace and ease to your mental state, consider your alignment with your spiritual beingness, which is the core of your existence.

Want to return to optimal health in body mind and spirit? Meditate, find that still small voice within which is the source and substance of your being, make friends with it, find peace with it, and thereby bring harmony and peace to your body, mind and being.

Self Determination/Self Governance

I posted what follows in response to a Facebook meme one of my friends posted.  The meme said, "Why, when Jesus talks about feeding the poor, its Christianity, but when a politician does it, its socialism?"

My comment:

The difference to me is, when you do it as Jesus referred to, it is out of kindness and an open heart wanting to help another. When it is a socialistic endeavor, a person may be doing it because they are told to, or they feel like they have to, but they don't necessarily do it with an open heart and a desire to be of service. 

Also, any form of government is a outside imposed control system, where others tell you want you can or can't do, or should or shouldn't do. An enlightened approach to life, where you realize your oneness with life and others, is self governance, freedom of choice and making choices which are beneficial to yourself and others.

If you need someone else to make your decisions for you, to rule your life, then go ahead, let your government dictate your life for you. If you do that, it is no longer your life, you are just a puppet with government dictates pulling your strings.

The Value of Hard Times

While the terrible destruction of the fires has been an awful thing, I hope on the bright side, it brings attention to the immense value of clean air, and healthy forests and communities which work together to overcome such disasters.

When people never have to face such disasters, they seldom realize the value of the wonderful environments and lives they live without gratitude and appreciation.

I hope whatever troubles we each face in our lives, we overcome them, and gain an appreciation for those things we previously took for granted.

Make Heaven, not Hell

We will never create Heaven on Earth by creating wars to get it. War is the opposite of what Heaven is.

In order to create Heaven on Earth, we create and express as loving, kind, caring, considerate, compassionate beings. We treat others the way we want to be treated, allow the freedoms we wish to have for ourselves, which means we allow others to live their lives the way they choose to.

The path of war and division, of control and manipulation, of anger, hatred, revenge, and despair, can never and will never bring Heaven on Earth.

When do we create Heaven on Earth? Right here, right now, by placing our attention and activities upon the characteristics which are expressive of a Heavenly expression in existence.

The fork in the road is right here, the choices we make right now, determine whether we have a blissful life or a sorrowful life.

The Missing Ingredient makes all the difference

Consider all the people who are leading the charge towards global domination, power and control. They all are exceedingly wealthy from a financial perspective. You'd think having all the money in the world would make you the happiest people in the world, but look at what they do, all of this power playing and manipulation, aren't actions of a happy person.

The problem they've made for themselves is this, they put all their energy and effort into gaining worldly things, and they still feel empty. You may ask why?

Because they've denied, or not even considered the most important aspect of their being, where true fulfillment resides. Their intimate connection with Source, God, or whatever you want to call it. That which makes the poor man rich, not in worldly things, but in spiritual abundance, where all good originates from.

I'd say, they are without love in their heart, or if they do have love, it is for things and themselves, and that is the source of their dis-ease.

Of all the people on Earth, these people need the most radiant loving energy to surround them and lift them out of their power hungry despair.

I suggest a world meditation where all of these sick people (I call them sick people because they are imbalanced spiritually,) need the grace of God to lift them back into the light, back into the realization of our oneness in God. Back into the experience of true loving bliss which is the birthright of all beings.

Pray for them most of all. Forgive them for they know not what they do.

We have what they long for but will never get through their worldly focus and efforts. Love, Compassion, Caring, Sharing, Peace and Harmony.

Let us all send them so much love energy they can't deny it, so they may choose to awaken with us into the next stage of our evolution as a race of being here on planet Earth.

Spiritual Awakening: Finding and experiencing the best version of our Self.

In this moment, right now, I am experiencing being here now. This experiencing of this moment right now is uniquely my own experiencing. That is to say, how I feel emotionally and physically, what I see and how I see it, what I smell as I inhale, and how it feels as I exhale, are uniquely my own experiences in this moment. In this “normal” state of awareness in being, there are a lot of adjectives which describe the sensory inputs which color our expression and experience in being here now. (The Merriam-Webster online dictionary has this to say about adjectives: “. . .Adjectives describe or modify—that is, they limit or restrict the meaning of—nouns and pronouns. They may name qualities of all kinds: huge, red, angry, tremendous, unique, rare, etc.”)

Most likely, the word qualities we use to describe our “normal” state in being, do not necessarily and always reflect the ideal or optimal state in being in this moment by moment unfolding. Whatever these qualifiers are, it is our intention to align them, to attune them to the best version of our self expression that we can in this here now moment by moment unfolding.

The meditation process is a process where we sit quietly, with eyes closed, in a comfortable posture, relaxing and breathing comfortably. In doing so, we shift the qualities in our here now moment by moment unfolding, limiting the sensory qualifiers so that we avail ourselves to this purer experience of our being. And in experiencing this state in being, we more fully identify and embody IT. We must experience our own perfection in order to know this perfection exists. Without first hand experience, the ideal state of our being and expressing, are just concepts to intellectualize about.

So, in meditation, the objective is not to become something, or someone who we are not, but rather to uncover, expose and experience who and what we truly are. This ideal expression in being may be described as our “God Self,” which we are able to experience only in this here now moment by moment unfolding. Identifying with our God Self first, then seeing our expression in physical form as (insert your name here,) secondly, aligns our attention and expression in being with our perfect, ideal state in being, which then has an effect upon our secondary identity and experience in and as this secondary identity of (insert your name here.)

Through continued experiencing of our God Self, the out picturing of our physical, secondary identity expression exhibits the divine traits and attributes of our ideal expression in being. And this continues until the secondary identity fades away so we fully embody our Divinity as our God Self in form and expression.

So, the awakening process isn’t to become something else, but rather to identify with and express our Divinity in each moment by moment unfolding, and in so doing not only uncover and experience our own perfection, but see and experience this perfection reflected in our world environment as well.

Regarding the Virus. . .

Consider this:

It took only one person being exposed to the virus to begin the chain of events that has unfolded since then. So, even with extreme and strict quarantine measures, it only takes one person to start the chain reaction all over again.

Pandora's box has been opened, and its contents can never be put back in.

It isn't practical to continue the measures currently being enforced, there has got to be a better way to heal the population of Earth. Medical measures and restrictions may work in the short term but aren't practical for the long term.

A different approach to the problem must be engaged. Awakening to our true and eternal spiritual being, may be a step in the right direction. Learning how each of us creates our own reality experiencing, is another step. And, experiencing our oneness in being as expressions of life, will go a long way towards bringing back the Peace, Love, Harmony, Compassion, Caring, Fun, Laughter and abundance to the front and center of our life expressing in this here, now moment by moment unfolding.

Half empty? Half full?

The perspective or attitude we adopt when viewing our world, our experiences, and our life can make all the difference in what that world, life and experience is.

Half empty:

This is the pessimistic view of our world, life and experiences. We tend to look on the "dark" side of things. When we hold this attitude and way of looking at our life and the world, how does that feel? What are the results of holding this attitude?

When we look at things from this perspective, we are more likely to be critical because we are seeing things as being incomplete, not enough, not good enough and those sorts of attitudes. What this does is it reflects back to us (or draws to us,) things and experiences of being incomplete, not enough, not good enough, etc.. When we adopt the critical approach to our life experience, we get more to be critical about because that's just the way it (the law of attraction,) works. And, when we are critical in that moment, we know what it is we want, but in that moment, instead of paying attention to having what we want, we spend the moment crying for the lack of what we want.

Generally, in my experience, this attitude is not very fulfilling, and doesn't feel good.

Half full:

This is the optimistic view of our world, life and experiences. We tend to look on the "bright" side of things. How does it feel to be optimistic? What are the results of holding this attitude?

A person who is optimistic generally is hopeful, there are more possibilities, and he/she is generally more open to finding them and experiencing them than a pessimist is.

Actually, being optimistic is more in line with our flow of energy, and being more in line with our flow, feels generally better than being a pessimist which is either going against the flow, or resisting the flow.

We all have predominated tendencies that have sprung up within our attitudes and experiences usually harbored and nurtured by those around us as we grew up. We generally adopt the attitudes of those around us when we are young, because they present a strong vibration of that, and being undefined vibrationally, we tend to identify with that which is predominate in our field of experience, especially when we are very young in these physical bodies.

Even if we have one attitude or the other ingrained into our mind, once we realize we now have control, we can begin to break free from the patterns which don't serve us any longer.

To break free, we must catch ourselves over and over again, when we express the pessimistic view, and when we do, turn it around to the optimistic view. (Every experience holds equal potential for either experience. As the experiencer, we decide which side we are going to pay attention to.)

This process is a "never get it done" type process. What I mean is, we always will be faced with the decisions of which side of the equation we are going to pay most attention to. The good news is, that as we practice mindfulness, and as we choose to be more optimistic, we weight our experiences in favor of being optimistic, and the more we are optimistic, the more we experience things to be optimistic about. This results in a snowball effect. (By the way, the same is true if we choose the pessimistic perspective.)

Now that being said, both of these attitudes are valuable in that the Half empty attitude point out to us something we want or desire, and the Half full attitude then applies focus of attention towards what we want. So you may see, that it is sort of a "flip flop" experience, first we see what we don't want, which make it more clear what we do want, and being more clear about what we do want, we pay attention to that, which brings that into our experience.

So, when we have a pessimistic moment, we can rejoice because in the moment that follows, we can see optimistically what we want, and seeing that we can move towards that.

If I could express a timeline of what this might be like in life experience, it might go something like this: Half empty, half full, half full, half full, half empty, half full, half full, half empty, half full. This is actually the creative process which could be stated in another way as in this example:

Not enough love in my life, I pay more attention to the love that is already in my life, and by paying attention to that, I experience more love in my life. I create more opportunities to experience more love in my life.

(By experiencing the "not enough" side of the experience, I built the desire for more. If I hadn't experienced the "not enough" I wouldn't have desired or moved towards creating more loving experiences in my life. So, while the "not enough" didn't feel good, it gave me the opportunity to turn towards what it was that I wanted, which feels much better. It works in my favor when I experience it, then look for the seed of what it is I want to create out of it.)

Every moment then, is the fruit in my experience that stirs up within me the desire to plant the seed for future experiences. As I am more and more aware of this process occurring moment by moment by moment, I become more and more the deliberate creator, planter of seeds, which express in the outer world experience as the fruit I've created.

If you begin to deliberately plant seeds of joy, from moment to moment, eventually, those seeds will manifest as joyous life experiences, will express as the fruit in the moment by moment experience of life. So, while I'm planting seeds of joy, I continue to reap the harvest of joy from the seeds I've previously planted. This is the value of being deliberate in your focus, attitudes, and emotional experiences.

How long does it take to make this transition, to be mindful enough to be a deliberate creator? We are constantly creating, planting seeds in this here now moment by moment experience.

If you've never paid much attention to your here now experience, you've never observed your mental tendencies, your attitudes, you will have to develop these by beginning to be more mindful of your moment by moment experiences, and in this mindfulness, observe how you feel, and what it is you are thinking about when you feel that way, and what your attitude is in this moment as you are experiencing this feeling.

Through continued exposure and practice of mindfulness, we develop a clarity about how we use our moment by moment experiences to create our life experiences.

Through this clarity, we then choose deliberately thoughts and feelings and attitudes which serve us, which plant seeds to our liking. As the progress unfolds, the seeds express as fruit in our moment by moment experience, and thus we reap the harvest we've intentionally and deliberately planted.

Practice being deliberate.

Meditation is a practice in being deliberate. Being deliberate for a pre-determined amount of time, in a place where we are free from interruptions and distractions. A time and place set aside to deliberately pursue this experience in awareness. When we sit for meditation, at first we may just sit and observe the experiences we have, we may feel the bodily sensations, we may feel the welling up and subsiding of emotions, we may observe thoughts that come and go, and in all this, we can become more clear. At first observation and stillness may be the goal of meditation, so that as we meditate, we just sit and adopt the observer attitude.

Eventually, we may choose to do something deliberately, such as repeating a Mantra, or focusing upon a simple thought such as "One" or "Love." We may deliberately repeat this mantra or word over and over again. Whenever another thought or feeling comes up, we might have a tendency to drift off with that, but being mindful, we catch our self and then return to the Mantra or word we've chosen to deliberately focus upon.

As we continue to practice, we become more and more proficient at this until it eventually is so easy and effortless that it is a natural expression of our being.

Once more thing about being deliberate, this isn't a forceful process, where we adopt an attitude like, "I'm going to do this come hell or high water!" where we grit our teeth, and tense up, and become rigid. Rather it is a gentle but determined approach where we observe our distractions, then gently return our attention to our desired point of focus.

This is an example of the mental process during a meditation period:

Love, love, love, I wonder what I'm going to do this afternoon? I think I'll go get some milk I need to remember to get milk. Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, that itches, I got to scratch that itch, dam, why is it itching, I wish it wouldn't itch, I got to get back to my meditation, but this dam itch is distracting me, (scratch the itch,) love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, I wonder how long I've been doing this, this is boring, man, why am I doing this, this is really stupid, I don't see why I'm wasting my time doing this, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, humm, this does feel better, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love....

Resistance is futile!

The Borg from "Star Trek, the Next Generation," had it somewhat right in saying "Resistance is futile," although in the movies and TV series, resisting allowed the humans and others to continue to experience their life the way they wanted rather than the way the Borg wanted. Unlike the Borg though, Source Energy isn't restrictive or mind numbing, but rather liberating and allowing. While we maintain our resistance to the full flow of our Source Energy, we prolong our painful life experiences in degrees from subtle to severe. We can endure a lot of discomfort when we resist the flow of our Source Energy, but ultimately, Source Energy prevails, in one way or another, to erode away the resistance which reveals to us once again, who and what we truly are. And, in that revelation, we know and understand fully our being and power.

Want to come to a better understanding of resistance as it applies to you and your life experience? It is a good thing to be aware of the things that we do, think and say that build up our resistances, which accumulate over time, and blocks the flow of our Source Energy.

If you don't realize you are resisting and/or adding to your resistance in one way or another, you can't/won't let go of the resistance that you are accumulating. It remains within your vibrational field, in plain sight, yet hidden from your own awareness. Life is full of indicators which point out to us, what our resistances are, and realizing that there are indicators we can begin to be on the lookout for those indicators, so we can let them go, and/or dissolve them when they show up.

Here is an experiment that visually demonstrates Source Energy Flow, and the results of resistances. (You don't actually have to physically do this experiment if you clearly get the imagery presented, but physically doing this may have a greater impact on your understanding and therefore appreciation of the ideas presented.)

For this experiment you will need a large mouth plastic container such as a gallon milk container with the top cut off so there is enough room to put your hand comfortably into the container, or a paper milk container where the same large top opening is available.

You will also want some dirt, some sand, some small pebbles, and some large rocks/pebbles.

Find an empty plastic container, like a gallon plastic milk container, or some such thing. Cut off the top of the container so your hand can easily fit into the container. (Consider this container to represent you here in the physical manifestation as a human being. The large opening at the top represents our natural openness to the flow of Source Energy.) Next, take a pointy object like a Philips screw driver, and poke a bunch of holes (maybe ten or so,) into the bottom of the container. (The only way we can effectively flow Source Energy, is to have sufficient outlet for it to flow through us.) You can do this next part outside with a garden hose (may be preferred,) or inside over a kitchen sink or some such place where the water can flow freely without concern. Set the container on something which will allow the water to flow out the holes on the bottom of the container. Turn on the water so that it is flowing strongly, but not as high as it can go if you have a lot of water pressure. (This represents the flow of Source Energy.) Place the container under the flowing water. (This is what is happening with us all the time; we are constantly within the stream of Source Energy as it flows unceasingly around us and through us.) You will notice that the container eventually fills up, and even though there are holes in the bottom of the container, the flow is sufficient to overflow at the top of the container as the constant flow of water runs. For purposes of this experiment, adjust the water flow so that the amount of water flowing in is equal to the amount that is flowing out of the holes in the bottom of the container, in other words, reduce the flow so the water doesn't overflow out the top but is sufficient to keep the container full while the water is flowing into the container.

When we come into the physical form, we typically flow Source Energy without resistance, in other words, we are a perfect conduit which Source Energy flows freely through. As we grow up and begin to adopt the beliefs and instructions of our parents and/or care givers and others, we build up some resistance to the flow to the degree that we adopt the beliefs and instructions of those people. As babies, we accept without question the external guidance which is so strongly presented to us. To simulate this, take a hand full of small pebbles and pour them into the container where the water is constantly flowing. (The pebbles simulate the beliefs and instructions we receive which begin to restrict the flow of our Source Energy.) And this resistance over time, begins to feel natural so that we don't even realize we are holding resistance to the Source Energy flow. We forget what it felt like to have Source Energy flow through us unimpeded.

You will notice that with just this little hand full of pebbles being tossed into the container, the flow through the container is restricted, and this may cause the water to overflow out the top of the container.

As we get older, and accept/adopt more limiting and restricting beliefs and listen to the instructions and beliefs of our teachers, friends and social relations, we may add more resistance. So, to simulate this, add another handful of small pebbles and a hand full of larger pebbles. With the water flow unchanged, the addition of the 2 hands full of pebbles further restricts the full and free flow of the water through the container, so that with the same flow, more is overflowing out the top than is flowing through the bottom.

With this greater accumulation of resistances, it may become more apparent to us, that it doesn't feel as good as it used to. Again, over time, we become accustom to this level of resistance, and therefore even though it doesn't feel as good as it once did, we eventually forget what it used to feel like, and so this new level of resistance becomes our "normal" experience.

As we continue to interact within our physical environment, there are a lot of very little resistances that we pick up along the way that really seem insignificant, at the time, but these very small ideas and attitudes can be like the hands full of sand you next pour into the container. You will find that some of the sand is washed right through the container, but some of it remains. As you continue to put more and more sand into the container, eventually more of it remains, and less of it escapes through the bottom.

This is how it is with all the little ideas we pick up without consciously thinking about them through our exposure to life situation, TV, Movies, etc..

As time goes on, we also accept beliefs that are similar to the larger pebbles; these are often enforced through government laws and church and laws commandments. So put a hand full of larger pebbles into the container, and then another. Obviously, as this stuff is added, the water flow continues unchanged, yet less water is making it through the container to escape through the holes in the bottom, and more is overflowing out the top.

Again, eventually, this level of resistance begins to feel normal to us after prolonged exposure to it.

Then we get into the beliefs that really restrict the flow, such as negative emotional based attitudes about death, failure, hate jealousy, grief and powerlessness. To simulate these, put a couple of hands full of dirt into the container. As we continue to hold these types of attitudes, it is like we are putting more dirt into our container, so go ahead and keep pouring dirt into the container.

What will eventually happen; is the water that is able to be flowed through the container through the bottom holes will be tainted by the dirt, and will be polluted as it exits through the holes. And as more and more dirt is poured into the container, there will come a point where the flow out the bottom is so limited as to be only a trickle while the overflow out the top will be the major part of the flow. The restricted flow through the holes is like the inability to have your desires fulfilled. All that "stuff" restricts the flow so much that, if you get anything at all, it is likely not pure and clear the way you want it to be.

What does this experiment show you about you and your relationship to Source Energy Flow? Can you get an idea of where you are relative to these different stages of increased resistance to the flow? It should be of little interest to you where my flow is, how restricted or free flowing my flow is, but it should be of huge interest to you where your flow is and how much it is restricted or free flowing.

Consider we can't turn off the faucet of Source Energy Flow. It was always on, and it will always be on. It was always flowing strongly and it will always continue to flow strongly. That is the nature of Source Energy.

Consider also, that if from this very moment you never again added resistance to your container, eventually, (it could take a very, very long time,) the flow of Source Energy would clean away, little by little, every bit of resistance you've accumulated. And this would be and is a nature result of being in the flow, of allowing the flow to stream through us.

Now that we've got this container full of stuff that is restricting the flow of Source Energy, what do we do with it? Obviously, we may choose to start to reverse the process through which the stuff was accumulated. We have to adopt a more loving, allowing attitude to be our predominate life expression which means we move out of the attitudes that don't feel good. Little by little, we let go of our feelings of powerlessness and despair, which moves us up into grief, and that removes some of the dirt. Then we can move into guilty feelings and let them go, and that to removes more of the dirt, letting a little more Energy flow through is, As we let go of our guilt, we can then let go of our jealousies, then our hatreds and then our revengefulness, and so on and so on up the emotional scale until all the dirt has been removed and we begin to feel more relief in contentment. As we do let go of the resistances, a little at a time, the flow rewards us with feelings of relief. And, the constant flow of Source Energy makes it easier and easier to clear out and let go of all that "stuff" we've accumulated, which further increases the flow of Source Energy flowing through us.

Eventually, with continued attention and effort, we are rid of the resistance so that our energy flows through us freely, resulting in purer outcomes of those things we've desired.

We continue on this journey of cleansing through being more allowing which means as we become aware of the pebbles of our resistant, we remove them one by one, and even sometimes by the hands full. So instead of resisting or fighting against the things the pebbles represented to us, we turn around in the flow, turning towards what we want relative to that pebble, which dissolves the pebble and brings us closer to the fulfillment of the desire relative to that because more Source Energy is able to flow through us towards that fulfillment. So, letting go and allowing facilitates the removal of the pebbles large and small. This happens through our moment by moment life experience when we are faced with situations where we become aware of our resistance. These experiences don't feel good, so that is a clue that we've found another pebble that we can remove from the flow, by turning towards what we want and being allowing.

As we remove these obstacles, the flow returns. If we are persistent, we will find that it becomes easier and easier to see those obstacles and remove them quickly as they come to our attention, where at first it was very hard and took a lot of attention and effort with limited apparent results.

Allowing (or removing the obstacles,) is not pushing against what we don't want, but rather, turning towards what we do want, and therefore flowing with the Source Energy's flow. And glory be the day, when we are a cleared vessel for the flow of Source Energy.

Once we have once again cleared out all that resistance, we can then open the holes in the bottom of the container more, so that more Source Energy is able to flow through us, and as we open the holes in the bottom of the container, we turn up the flow of water, eventually, if a person so desires, they can completely open the bottom of the container, so that there is no resistance at all, and the energy of Source flows through them freely. In this way, the physical manifestation is the conduit for Source Energy to flow and express purely and perfectly in the physical manifestation. And this expression is blissfully, and joyously Divine.

How long does this process take?

That is a very good question, that I am sure most people want an answer to.

Unfortunately, there is no one right answer that applies to everyone. In a general sense I can say, how long it takes is up to you, how focused you are on becoming more allowing, how much "stuff" you've accumulated over the years, and how effective you are at becoming aware of your "stuff" and how effective you are in letting it go. This process is an adventure where, when you become aware that you are flowing against the current, you in that moment, turn back around, and go with the flow. Each moment where we find an upstream thought or belief or attitude, and turn around, returning to the flow, we've removed some resistance, and we can really rejoice in that. Each little pebble removed is a reason to rejoice, each large pebble remove is a reason to rejoice. Each turning downstream, going with the flow is a reason to rejoice. Because in each of those moments, we are allowing Source Energy to flow more freely, and each moment we are allowing Source Energy to flow more freely, the better we feel, the more we allow what we want to come to us, the more our life is fulfilling, the more good feeling experiences we have, and the more we come to experience our own power and freedom.

Without resistance, we are powerful and free beings. (Even with resistance we are powerful and free beings, it just is more obvious without resistance.)

The Lies You Tell

It seems to me, the real disease which has spread across the world, isn't necessarily the covid virus, but rather the excessive and intentional use of lies and deception. No wonder people don't know who to trust.

My suggestion is to be present in your awareness and expression of truth. If you haven't established your truthfulness, as a foundation of your own character, then it is no wonder people don't trust you.

It only takes one lie to ruin a lifetime worth of honesty and integrity, and once that is lost, it is a very difficult and long path to get it back, if you ever can get it back.

Even so, make it a point to always be truthful, as best you can. At least then, you will be on the road to recovery no matter how long it takes.

If you choose to continue down the path of lies, don't expect things to get better for you.

Beat the sickness before it gets a firm grip on you.

When you feel the symptoms of a cold coming on, like for instance, the first little scratchy throat feeling, you can head off the cold my immediately taking action to eliminate it before it has a chance to grow further. I believe the same is true for any ailment like the cold or flu or the virus. I don't recommend waiting until you are deathly sick to take action.

Keeping your body healthy is an ongoing process where you are mindful of how you are feeling, and take appropriate action to maintain your good health.

What I do is, get a lot of vitamin C by drinking juices which naturally contain this vitamin. Give your body a chance to defend itself by eating right, maintaining a healthy positive attitude, while feeding your mind and spirit with uplifting thoughts during your daily periods of meditation.

You don't have to get sick if you are wise enough to do the right thing at the right time.

Creating Paradise One Moment at a Time

In the manifestation process, the vibrations we offer to the universe are reflected back to us as expressions in being. If we want to have a more joyous life, express more joy in the here now moment by moment unfolding, and while doing so, say to the universe, "More of this please. Thank you."

Paradise is created one moment at a time, and can only be realize via being present in the moment by moment unfolding and holding the vibration of paradise as each moment unfolds.

Good Medicine for an Ailing Society

In order to attain a broader perspective, higher consciousness, one must endeavor to raise his/her vibration. Easy ways to raise one's vibration is through joyous laughter, smiling, singing a happy song, dancing to upbeat music, playing something you enjoy doing and generally having fun.

These days, it may be necessary to consciously and with intention find moments in our daily lives where we can endeavor to do one or all of these things. The more we immerse ourselves in uplifting activities and thought forms, the more consistently we reside in higher vibrations. The more we consistently reside in higher vibrations, the easier it is to maintain these vibrations, and the easier they are to be transmitted and received by those in our environments.

Raising one's vibrations is a wonderful process where each individual reaps the rewards via their moment by moment immersion with the added benefit that while being immersed in these more joyous vibrations, we radiate and amplify these vibrations into our surroundings and environment.

Good medicine for an ailing society.

GARDENING YOUR MIND

Gardening your Mind

Introduction

This booklet sprouted from a seed idea planted when I sent the following email message to some friends. Here is the message:

Gardening tips for the day

The mind is a fertile garden ready, willing and able to grow whatever is planted there. We must consciously plant thoughts in our garden so that what we plant grows to maturity. Since the garden of our mind is ready, willing and able to grow whatever is planted, or takes root there, if we do not consciously plant positive life supporting thoughts there, then something else MUST and Will grow there. Whatever that “something” is will be dependent on the winds of time and circumstance that blow its thought seeds into the fertile soil of mind. So, that “something” could be good or bad, since we haven’t made a conscious effort to cultivate our mind garden, any kind of weed thought seed MUST and WILL grow there. That’s because it, the mind garden, needs to grow something and it doesn’t care what it is. It is the nature of the mind garden to grow things.

A wise person is ever mindful of the thought seeds that blow into his mind garden, uprooting the unwanted weed thoughts before they come to maturity and taking care to nurture those thought seeds that will bring the harvest he desires. A wise person cares for the seeds he plants so they bloom into the abundant harvest he desires.

A foolish person takes no care of the mind garden, or the thought seeds that blow into his mind, thus letting whatever thought seeds that may come, take root there. He eventually reaps the harvest that only weeds can bring. Then he wails in woe for his misfortune in life wondering why God has done this to him. Thus a foolish person experiences random ups and downs, good and bad only swayed by the tendencies of the wind that predisposes him to receive certain types of weed seeds, never really knowing what or why he reaps the harvests he does.

We all have a green thumb, if only we will realize it’s our responsibility to be the Master Gardener of our mind. Then will we reap the bountiful harvest made in heaven, awaiting our acceptance of it.

You may be asking, why did I write that message and why did I send it to my friends? Well, I was listening to what some of them were saying, which often reflects the thoughts that flow through their minds. In listening, I realized they may not realize they were planting seeds that would manifest fruit in due course; they were possibly ignorant of what they were doing to themselves by unknowingly planting such seeds. I think they all know me well enough and understand my philosophy enough to grasp the principles the message is base on. Since you probably don’t know me, and may not know these principles or Truths, I will state them briefly.

Truths:

The TRUTH and principles I speak of and make reference to throughout this writing are self-existent. Their existence is not dependent on anyone’s belief in them. They always were and will always be True. They’re not dependent on any condition or circumstance, rather all conditions and circumstances are dependent on them.

1. The point of power is in the now moment. Only in the now moment can the work be done.

2. We manifest our life experience; therefore, we must assume full responsibility for our life experience if we are to be able to choose what this life experience is.

3. There is only one Being. Each of us is a manifestation of this one Being. We all exist within It, and It exists within each of us. We are made of It and have all of Its attributes. There is no difference between It and each one of us.

4. We are here to bring forth or awaken the TRUTH of our being, to experience all the things this life has to offer us. By these experiences, we grow into a realization of being more than we thought we were before.

5. The TRUTH of our being is that each one of us is a divinely perfect, beautiful, all powerful, all knowing, loving and creative being because we are one with the Being who is all these attributes and more.

6. We have taken on this challenge, come into this manifestation and form by “falling into darkness” as the shroud of ignorance was drawn over the knowledge and remembrance of our true state and being, so that we could experience duality and all that springs from this concept.

7. We have taken on this challenge, having purposely lost our awareness of our true identity, so we could eventually re-awaken and then return to the full awareness, to the realization and expression of our true divine beingness.

8. We are at the stage in our evolution where many are awakening to this TRUTH, and by so doing, open the door, lead the way, and shed the light of awakening so that all may know, see and follow.

9. Since there is only one Being, (duality is an illusion created in this realm of relativity,) what you do to others, you are doing to yourself. Thus the saying, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” The good you do to and for others is the good you do to and for yourself. The harm you do to others is the harm you do to yourself. There is no escaping this principle because of the Oneness of being. It is one thing to harm another while in the state of ignorance. It is quite another, to willfully harm another once the dawning and realization of your power and ability begins. In the state of ignorance, one can easily be forgiven those trespasses, not so, after the dawning.

10. There is only One Being. This being is divinely complete and perfect in Being, in Power (ability) and Knowledge. Therefore, there is only One Power. The manifestation of relativity or duality contains polarities of good and evil. Since these polarities exist within the one being, they share the same creative ability which springs from the oneness of being. The polarities are the opposite sides of the same coin. One could not exist without the other, therefore good is just as dependent on evil as evil is dependent on good.

11. It is the inherent ability of our divinity which has bound us and which will free us from bondage.

. . .

I have found that using gardening as an analogy for the process of manifestation is very useful. Many of the concepts of gardening can be applied to the manifestation process very nicely, thus giving us a real world reference to concepts that may be otherwise abstract.

I hope you will take the time to read through this material and by doing so, find the understanding and principles which will develop your own mind garden, cultivating all the abundance, fulfillment and joy you desire. If you just read this, you will intellectually have a better understanding of the manifestation process. Only by applying the principles in your everyday life experience will you experience the truth of these principles.

So, as we begin this journey together, I’d like to take this opportunity to plant a seed.

Plant this seed and it WILL grow.

There is a place within me that already knows this information. Not only knows it, but understands it and enables me to freely use it for my own betterment, for the betterment of my family, friends and loved ones. I always turn to This inner knowing for guidance in applying the principles expressed here. I grow in the garden of Paradise, fulfilled in the bounty of the divine.


WHERE DO I BEGIN?

The point of power is in the now moment by moment unfolding. This is the eternal starting point, the place where we begin. The now moment is where we are at in our development or lack thereof. It is the place we begin anew or consciously proceed from upon our path of life, of being. In this moment, we must face that which is presented to us, work with the tools and abilities we currently have, and proceed from here. We must be ever consciously focused in the now moment by moment unfolding to become the Master Gardener of our mind.

The great thing about the Garden of the Mind is the planting, caring and harvesting all happen in the NOW moment.

There are a few things you need in order to have a garden. First of all, you have to want to have a garden. Then a plot of land well suited to plant your seeds and care for them until they ripen into the harvest you desire. You also need tools to break the soil and prepare it, and enrich it so that once you have planted the seeds; they will easily find the sustenance to allow them to grow.

You need some sort of protection for your seedlings so that they will not be eaten or trod into the ground or overtaken by weeds, thus not reaping the fruit you desire. And of course, you need seeds. Having provided these things, continued nourishment and care is necessary to insure a successful harvest.

There have been many books of religion, philosophy, spirituality and self-realization written. They are, for the most part, wonderful and one can gain inspiration and understanding by reading them. My experience with reading some such books, in the search for my advancement and development in understanding and being, have left me wanting, either because I didn’t “get it” when I was reading them or because the way they were presented was too ambiguous. I hope to present information here that will actually enable you to know and understand your own growth process. If you apply these principles as presented here, with confidence, enduring in the knowledge that once you plant these seeds and take care of them, by the law of manifestation they MUST grow, you will be a Master Gardener of your mind.


THOUGHT, WORD AND DEED

Just reading and thinking about this information, hoping and wishing that you will make progress in cultivating your garden isn’t enough. You must take an active part in the process by not only thinking about the garden, but also speaking the words and doing the necessary work. The intent, desire and determination to bring the thought seeds to maturity are fundamental requirements of the gardening process. The thoughts, words and deeds must be in harmony with the intended harvest, in order to successfully come to the harvest you desire. It is not magic which brings a garden the abundant harvest at the end of the season, but rather it is attention to the proper and constant loving care of the garden which brings the harvest one desires. NOTE: It is the strength of the desire which is the motivation that propels the thought idea into manifestation. The emotions are the feedback loop, which provides guidance as to whether one is properly aligned in thought, word and deed towards the fulfillment of the desire.


SEEDS

Thoughts are the seeds we plant in the fertile soil of our mind garden. We’ve been doing it so long, all our lives as a matter of fact, that we hardly pay any attention to the thoughts that come flowing through our mind. For many people the concept that they can control the thoughts that occupy their mind is really a foreign concept. Where do thoughts come from? Do they well up from the depths of our being? Or are they energies that flow around us and through us from one person to another? Are the thoughts that occupy our minds really “our” thoughts? I ask these questions, not because I am going to give you answers to them, but rather, I ask you to seek the answers for yourself, in your own quiet times of meditative contemplation.

There is that saying, “Know thy Self”. If you believe that you are just the physical body holding this material in your hands reading this, then you are limited in your self-knowledge. The “Self” to get to know, is much more than just the physical body and its senses. It is also the consciousness that motivates and moves the body to action. The consciousness that inhabits the body can build the body up and fill one with the greatest joy. It can also cause the body to fall into illness, and all sorts of suffering and sorrow. And what is it that has this great power? What is contained in the consciousness that either makes us or breaks us? The thoughts that inhabit our mind are the power. Thoughts make up our consciousness. These are the seeds we plant in the garden of our mind, that grow and blossom and bring us the harvest according to the pattern contained within the thought seeds we’ve planted.

When you look at a seed, do you see the fulfillment of that seed? When you look at an oak seed, do you see the great and noble oak tree with its branches reaching up to the sky, and its roots clinging deeply in the soil of the Earth? Do you see the many leaves that spring from the branches and fall again to the Earth in the fall to be returned to the soil they sprang from? If you were the sort of person to study such things, you may answer yes to these questions. You may even go further in your understanding and knowledge of the growth process which enables the tiny seed to manifest such a great tree.

The pattern for the tree is contained within the seed, yet not every detail of the tree is predictable by looking at the seed. Not every bend of a branch or number of leaves is contained in the seed, yet these things spring up from the pattern.

So it is with thought seeds. Each thought contains a pattern that forms the skeleton or basic structural pattern for the energies to bind to. These energies manifest according to the pattern contained within the thought seed, but not every detail of the manifest from is predictable or uniform from one seed to the next.

Each oak tree is very similar to the next, yet they have their own individuality, their own expression of being an oak tree. No two oak trees are exactly alike. So too, even though you and I may hold the same thought and bring it into manifestation, the manifestation we each bring forth will be unique to each of us, yet very much according to the pattern of the thought seed they originated from.

In consciousness there are elements of a thought which express the character of the thought. These elements are what causes the seed shell to burst open allowing the pattern within to reach out and begin to take form. These elements are the energy which propels the seed into manifestation, they are the force or energy that enlivens the seed and brings its fruit into outward expression.

What are the elements then that can do this? The power of the desire and the intention to bring forth the desired harvest are two very important elements. The desire is the fuel and power behind the thought, within the thought that drives it into manifestation. A thought with no desire content, has no energy to manifest, nothing to push the seed into manifestation, therefore thoughts without desire are sterile. The most powerful thought seeds are those that are charged with great desire energy.

The strength of the desire energy spurs us into action, causes us to speak the words that follow the pattern contained within the thought seed. By our words and actions, we begin to outwardly manifest the thought seed contained within our mind. Because of the strength of the desire, some thoughts become deeply rooted within our minds and some of them form the foundation of our repeated successes and our repeated failures. You might say; I don’t have a desire to fail, why would I feed a thought seed with the desire to fail? Subconsciously, one may hold opposing desires to that which one consciously wishes to bring forth. So if such subconscious desires have more energy than the conscious desires, the conscious desired can’t manifest and this appears outwardly as a failure.

NOTE: In the original writing, I stated that emotion was the fuel which brings the thought seeds to harvest, but that is not correct. Emotions do play a role in the creative process, but emotions aren’t the driving force, but rather they are the guiding force in the manifestation process. I will delve into the emotional guidance system later.

Once a seed is planted in the garden of the mind, it needs nourishment to grow. The energy of desire contained within the thought seed is part of that nourishment which enables the seed to grow. Just as with a seed planted in the ground, the energy contained within the seed is limited, it must seek energy outside of itself to build itself into the full plant according to the pattern contained within the seed. If one depends solely on the seeds built in energy of desire to grow, it can’t possibly grow to maturity. That energy is a short burst of energy, and quickly dissipates. That is why “great ideas” never come to fruition, because the seeds planted are not given additions support to grow to maturity. The gardener’s desire to grow the thought seed, care for it and bring it to harvest go hand in hand with the initial energy contained within the seed.

What is needed then to bring the plant to harvest so that we reap the fruit it was intended to bare? Just as in a garden once the seed is planted, it needs loving care and attention to allow it to gain the strength which will allow it to proceed on its own to draw its own energy from the Earth. Just as with a seedling, being very delicate and vulnerable to external forces, so are our thought seedlings. When they are in the seedling stage, they are at their most vulnerable stage of existence. When a thought is in its earliest formative stages, it can easily be picked apart or ground into the soil of the mind, therefore dying before it has much of a chance to succeed.

What would these forces be that could kill off the thought seedlings at this stage of development? Doubts, fears, apprehension, confusion, and or a weak desire, as well as a lack of intention to see the process through to maturity and harvest are the forces that can kill a thought seedling. These things can spring up from within us or come from others in our community, family, friends and others who discourage us and deflate our desires by their doubts, fears, apprehensions, etc. that we accept as our own which steals the energy of the thought seed, killing it.

How often have you come up with an idea, and had a strong desire for the idea feeling it was sure to be a great success? Then shortly thereafter, you considered it more, after the initial desire content had faded, and doubts and fears crept in and uprooted the thought before it had a chance to take root. How often have you shared your excitement about an idea with someone you know, only to have the idea deflated by them draining you and your idea of its strength to survive?

What’s the lesson here? When a seed thought is in its beginning stages, it is in its most vulnerable stage, therefore needs special care to insure it is allowed to take root and begin to grow. What sort of care is needed then? Care that your own doubts, and the doubts and fears of others does not drain your idea of its power to grow. The care of your thought seedling is enhanced by not sharing the ideas contained within the thought seed with anyone. By hiding it from the doubts and fears of others, we at least in part, cut the resistance to its manifestation in half. The other half is a little more difficult to deal with. That half is our own doubts and fears we have about the thought seed we’ve planted. Doubts and fears are the insects and creatures that love to devour seedling thoughts, therefore we must take care and not allow doubts and fears to set in. How do we do that? Well, being a beginner gardener, its easy not to have faith in the garden we plant, it is easy to fail because we have little experience at consciously planting and properly caring for our garden. We have little confidence that the seeds will grow. What do beginning gardeners do then? They look to someone who has had success at caring for their garden. What does that someone have that the beginning gardener doesn’t have? That experienced gardener has confidence, faith in the process, and knowledge that proper care will bring forth the desired harvest. Just as the doubts and fears of others can kill our seedlings, our own faith, knowledge and confidence, as well as the faith, knowledge and confidence of others, can lend protection to the seedlings, allowing them to gain the strength to grow to maturity.

So, if you choose to share your thought seed ideas with others it is of the utmost importance that you know and have confidence they (the others,) will be supportive and lend energy to their growth.

At first it takes a “leap of faith” on your part to take the chance to allow the seeds to grow. Knowing that others have been successful at planting the same such seeds, lends confidence to the process. They did it and so can you. Every one of the gardeners of their minds had to take that first step. They succeeded and so can you. The first step is the hardest in that leap of faith, but once taken, we must proceed with confidence. Confidence allows the innate ability of the process to unfold.

Now that we’ve gotten the seedling to take root, and watered it with our confidence and faith, let us take a break from the process for a moment to consider the type of seeds we can plant in the garden of our mind.


SEED TYPES

As in the gardening world there are a multitude of seeds to choose from. Some of them we may really want and seek after, others we may shy away from. Weed seeds are amongst the multitude of seeds available to us. Why are there such seeds? Because if we don’t consciously plant the thought seeds we desire in the garden of our minds, something must and will grow there. That’s where the weed seeds come in. What makes a weed a weed? Generally, it may be a beautiful plant, but it is not something we want to grow, it’s out of place in the garden of our mind, therefore it’s considered a weed. So, those thoughts that come blowing through our mind which don’t add to the harvest we desire are the weed seeds we must take care not to allow to take root. We uproot such weeds by removing them from our mind garden and then focus our attention upon our desired thought seeds which enables the desired thought seeds to grow.

Why are weeds of such concern? Weeds are of such concern because weeds have the innate ability to grow anywhere, with the least amount of attention or care. Wouldn’t it be great if the seeds we wished to plant were as capable and self-sustaining as the weed seeds are? Some people consider a garden full of weeds is not so bad. They may think you might get lucky and have a decent harvest of something good, and they didn’t have to do anything to plant it or have it grow to maturity. And there is the chance that something good could come from those weed seeds. The problem with such an attitude is that such weed seeds, once they’ve taken root, may be extremely difficult to get rid of. When the gardener grows tired or weary of the harvest weeds provide, and decided to take charge and begin to consciously select the seeds to plant in the garden of his mind, he has a daunting task ahead in removing the weeds to allow those thought seeds he wishes to grow to grow.

How does one prepare the soil of a garden to receive the seeds he wishes to plant? Turn the soil. The first thing any gardener does is dig into the soil, breaking it up, turning it and by so doing, uprooting the plants that may already be growing there. Also, the uprooted plants that grew there can be helpful in fertilizing the soil, becoming the compost which enriches the soil.

How do I turn the soil of my mind then? Turning the soil of the mind is breaking up the ideas that are currently there, turning them over, and allowing the energy that is contained in them to enrich the soil of the mind. You may say; gee, that means that I have got to dump all the ideas in my mind. What if some of the stuff there you really want there? It is growing well and giving you the harvest you desire. A gardener who destroys those plants that bare the fruit he desires is not very wise; therefore, he would certainly take care not to turn such plants under. He would take care as he churns the soil to determine if those plants he is coming upon are ones he wishes to keep or ones he wishes to get rid of. So that means one has to take the time to inventory those thoughts within his mind, to see which ones he wants to turn under, allowing them to enrich those that he decides he does want.

The time to inventory the garden of the mind is sometimes called meditation. It is a time when we can devote a period to our mind garden, setting quietly in witness of the thoughts that reside there.

Try it now for a minute or so. Stop reading this. Close your eyes; take a deep breath and relax. Continue to relax and just witness the thoughts that make themselves known to you now for this minute or so of this experiment.

That was a small glimpse at what is in the garden of your mind. As you sit in witness of the thoughts in the garden of your mind for a longer period of time, and at repeated sittings, you may notice a tendency of your thoughts to follow certain patterns or trends. You may notice that some of these patterns or trends are good, healthy and useful for your advancement and betterment while others are not. The time inventorying the garden of your mind is time well spent. It’s a practice that should be undertaken regularly. How else can you come to know the weeds that return or come anew to root in your garden? How else can you know if the plants you want to grow are doing well and growing nicely?

So we see, turning the soil is not only a beginning process, but a continuing one in the care and nurturing of the garden of our mind.


SELECTING THE SEEDS

Selecting the seeds to plant in the garden of your mind is a very personal thing. Each of us has our own concepts, ideas and thoughts about what our life should be. The garden I plant may be wonderful, beautiful and fulfilling to me, but not to you. Therefore you must make the decisions for which seeds you want to consciously plant in the garden of your mind.

Accompanying this booklet are 50 thought seeds you can plant in your garden of your mind if you so choose. You may choose to plant one, you may choose to plant any number of them or even all of them, or you may choose not to plant any of them. That is totally up to you. It’s your garden, so plant in it as you see fit. Each of these seeds is rich with potential, but sterile and lacking in desire content as writing on a piece of paper. They come to life when filled with your energy and desire and reveal their own energy as they are planted in your mind. Some of them may trigger an emotional response by reading them. Some may require contemplation for their energy of desire to be developed and realized. Therefore, in reading these thought seeds, if you wish them to grow; you must be open to and invest positive desire energy, as well as confidence and faith that they will grow. It may help to speak the words, investing them with love and confidence, thus allowing them to be actively planted in the garden of your mind.

You will notice in reviewing the thought seeds that they are thought seeds of the highest nature. They speak to the divinity within us, to the Truth of our being. When you are ready to open the door to the fulfillment these seeds have the potential to bring, the door will swing wide open and the energy for their manifestation will come rushing to you for the fulfillment they contain by design and pattern.

When you consider and embody the oneness of being, you will be greeted with divine love, compassion and fulfillment. The emotion of love is the greatest creative force there is. When I speak of love, I am not speaking of sexual love or lust, I am speaking of that pure emotion a mother has for her child, the deep and meaningful caring we have for one another. It’s the emotion that enriches our lives and lightens the burdens of our daily undertakings. It is the feeling which tingles and makes you want to laugh with joy. It is the feeling of closeness that can’t be described in words, only experienced and therefore ultimately unspoken. In Truth, love is the eternal expression of our being; it is the truest expression of our being.

To invest our thought seeds with any other emotion than divine love, can only lead to disaster and destruction. Therefore plant wisely the seeds within your mind. For the harvest, be it good or bad will surely come to you. The seeds you plant with love and caring will reap such fruit as you have only dreamed of. Seeds planted with anger, hatred, fear and the like, will bear thorns of pain for your harvest. Remember, the harm you do to others by planting such seeds is the harm you do to yourself.

In planting your garden, and choosing your seed thoughts, I recommend taking care of your own garden first. Getting your garden in order, reaping the harvest awaiting you as a beautiful divine being, will better enable you to be the master gardener the beginners will look up to. By your example you will be a leader. By your expression of the divine, in your everyday living, you will show others it is possible, it can be done, so they realize they can do it too.

It is a wonderful thing when one begins to reap the divine harvest. The beginner is so full of excitement and joy at the harvest received; he will certainly want to share it with all. Realizing that you will be filled with such enthusiasm now may allow you to temper that enthusiasm so that you do not tread beyond the boundaries appropriate to those around you. That is, allow those around you their freedom to grow the gardens they choose, even though that may not be the garden you choose to grow for yourself. By experiencing their own garden, each person grows and eventually avails themselves to the garden divine.

You may offer your thoughts and ideas with love and kindness, without any expectations attached to the offerings. Realize that those who are ready will receive them gratefully, those who are not, won’t. You can’t force anyone to grow the divine garden, but you can let them know such a thing exists by your example. When they are ready they will ask, then you can offer them thoughts and ideas with love and consideration.

As you live and experience the divine life, you open the way for others to know, experience and follow. Your awakening fills you with the knowledge and experience that enables you to assist others on the path to their awakening. So, if you truly want to help others, plant thought seeds which bring your own awakening and realization of your divinity. By living divinely, you will help a multitude rather than the few within your personal sphere of expression.


HARVEST

How long does it take from the time of planting to the harvest? Why is it that some things seem to manifest very quickly and some things seem to take forever to manifest? The short answer to the first questions is this: It takes however long it takes. For a person who wants the instant gratification of their desire, that answer may not be acceptable, but that is how long it takes. The answer to the second question is related to the answer to the first question. There are conditions of consciousness which create resistance or obstacles to a manifestation coming forth. The primary element contributing to instantaneous manifestation is one’s identity with the source, the ONE. (NOTE: this is where the emotional guidance system comes into play as an indicator of our proximity to our divine expression in being.) We manifest according to the extent we are consciously united with our True being. As we are totally united with our True being, we may instantaneously manifest those things we desire. The manifestation is always available in potential form. There is no time in the realm where this potential resides, so it doesn’t have to develop in the same way a physical plant seed must develop and grow, although some manifestations may follow a similar growth process to come to harvest. That is, a thought seed may need to go through stages of development before its time for harvest. This booklet is a very good example of that. When I first sat down and began writing this material, I felt comfortable with the amount and length of the content, and I was ready to let it be done there. Upon further review of the material, I could see that some things could be added and so I added to it. Yet again, after further meditation and review, it has grown even more. So, as this booklet is an example of the growth process and unfolding of an idea into its full glory, I could have let it mature to the beginning stage and been satisfied. I was open to its further growth into the fullness of its potential so that openness has allowed this booklet’s growth beyond what I personally thought was its conclusion. In the same way, we must be open to the manifestation exceeding our expectations of it. The cup is not returned to us filled to the brim, but rather running over. So it is with the Glory, Love, Abundance and Fulfillment that is ours by divine right.

So, some things develop over time because their development comes through our consciousness, our experience and understanding. Some things develop over time because we must mow down the weeds in our garden which choke out and hinder the growth of those things we truly want. Some things may also be delayed in the manifestation process by our progressing towards the fulfillment of our desire, then taking steps backward by doubting or any of the other obstacles I spoke of before.

If you want to consistently manifest your heart’s desires instantly, then you must make it your primary goal to break down the barriers that hinders the instant manifestation. Generally, the barrier which most hinders the attainment of this goal is the identification of oneself with separation in duality. What your specific barriers are, are unique to you. How you choose to deal with them is up to you. In order to crumble them, you must become consciously aware of them. They reveal themselves to you in your everyday experience. Every time we deny our oneness of being, our true being, we reinforce a barrier. At every opportunity to see and know our oneness of being, consciously accepting that Truth crumbles the barriers around our consciousness. Some people are comfortable with some of those barriers. They have protected us many times and they have served us well as they will continue to do until such time that we realize we don’t need them anymore. When that time comes, we can easily let them go and be grateful for the service they provided us.

Who determines how long it will take to manifest your heart’s desire? You do, by your willingness to become aware of those barriers and break them down, or by your lack of willingness to do so. It is your garden. It is your life experience. It is your Heaven and it is your Hell. How long you reside in any of these manifestations is by your choice.


HEAVEN

Heaven is not really a place so much as it is a state of mind and being. Heaven could be said to be the perfect mind garden, infinitely beautiful, divinely complete and ever fulfilling. An expression in being where all things are in their place according to divine plan and the instant a seed is planted, it blooms into full harvest. That is, there is no season of toiling and waiting for the harvest to come, unless we choose to make it so.

Planting your mind garden with thoughts that will bring you the divine harvest and lovingly caring for your mind garden, is the only way to realize that bountiful harvest. The loving intention, desire, dedication and determination to bring it forth can only succeed if you allow it to. We don’t MAKE the garden grow; we take care of it and LET it grow. As the Master Gardener we let nature do the work, we are just the care takers who guide its growth by our loving and caring attention.


HOW TO USE THE THOUGHT SEED CARDS

How you decide to use these cards is really up to you. I will suggest a way to use them, and then you can do as I suggest, or adopt a method that works best for you.

PICK A CARD, ANY CARD

It is a wonderful way to start your day, as you awaken in the morning, the first thing you do is to randomly or selectively pick a card and make it your seed for the day. First read it silently then out loud. Envision the thought it presents as being your current reality, your current experience. Fill the thought seed with appreciation and gratitude at having its harvest right now. Accept what the card states as already being. Act in accordance with the thought seed throughout the day. Being in harmony in thought, word and deed with the idea presented on the card hastens it into manifestation.

For convenience and easy of availability, I’ve included the card’s content here in a list format. Actually, the list might be better, because it gives you the opportunity to jot the Thought Seed down on a piece of paper, then carry that paper around with you during the day, looking at it occasionally as a reminder of your desire and intention. Writing down the thought seed idea is an active part in planting the seed and will reinforce it in the garden of your mind.

Plant these thought seeds, lovingly care for them with a strong desire and intention, and they WILL grow providing the divine harvest they are intended to provide.
